Content Rights Explained

When configuring a creator campaign, you can request usage rights for all content generated for the campaign. The table below describes the different usage right options and their scope.

Usage Right Option

Description

Organic social reposting on brand's owned and operated channels

You may only repost a creator's content on your own channel(s), giving credit to the creator by tagging or mentioning their handle in the content.

Paid social rights (paid retargeting from brand's handle)

You may use a creator's content in sponsored ads under your brand's account.

Paid amplification via Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads

You may boost content across the Meta platforms and TikTok to reach a targeted audience.

Organic + paid social rights (paid retargeting from brand via Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads)

This is a combination of the 3 usage right options above.

Full digital usage rights (including paid social, digital banner ads and email marketing)

This is all the usage right options above, but it also includes the rights for you to repurpose creator content in digital marketing, such as digital banner ads, email marketing, and more.

Full digital usage rights and out of home / point of sale usage rights

This is all the usage right options above, but it also includes the rights for you to repurpose creator content for out-of-home and point-of-sale marketing; such as posters on bus shelters, signage in malls, and digital ads on kiosks in airports.
