Product Boost helps you increase sales of specific products by giving partners limited-time commission boosts for promoting those products. Whether you’re a retailer selling through your Retail Media Network, a vendor selling through a retailer, or a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand selling products on your own site, Product Boost is a powerful tool for driving exposure to products and engaging your existing partner network.
Product Boost lets you create campaigns that spotlight specific products you want to drive more traffic and sales for. You choose the partners you want to offer higher commissions for promoting the products featured in your campaigns, and they earn the boosted payouts without needing to swap their existing program links for campaign-specific links.
The terms you set in your campaign override any underlying template term payout rules, acting as a rate takeover for the selected partners. The campaign terms don’t affect the template term itself, since the boosted payout is applied at product level.
Retailers and vendors have the option to collaborate on vendor-funded Product Boost campaigns, though you can also create and fund campaigns independently:
Self-funded campaigns — You can fund the increased commissions yourself to increase sales and strengthen partner engagement.
Vendor-funded campaign — If you’re a retailer, your vendors can cover the cost of increased commissions in exchange for the exposure your partner network provides, so you can boost sales without raising your own spend.

Some of the features you have access to with Product Boost include:
Selecting product SKUs for which you want to pay out more
Enrolling select partners from those joined to your program
Pre-defining the budget for partner payouts
Customizing campaign durations
Tracking performance with campaign-specific reporting

You get the following benefits with Product Boost:
New revenue source — You generate more revenue from increased sales activity on your site or platform, which drives incremental value for your business. Retailers using vendor-funded campaigns don’t have to take on any additional costs to get these sales, while D2C and vendor brands can self-fund to increase partner engagement and revenue.
More satisfied vendors — If you're a retailer, the vendors who sell on your platform get more exposure for their products, more partner endorsements, and more sales. This makes them eager to continue selling on your platform.
More engaged partners — Your partner network earns higher commissions for promoting products as usual, making them highly incentivized to promote the products you want boosted.
Simpler scaling — Product Boost taps into your existing partner network, contracts, and tracking infrastructure, letting you scale without adding complexity.
More performance insights — You get access to performance data on the products that are boosted, top-performing campaigns, and high-value partners. These insights help you understand what drives value so you can optimize your campaigns.
impact.com’s Product Boost feature and Amazon’s Creator Connections program are aimed at 2 different types of customers, and live in 2 different ecosystems:
Creator Connections is designed specifically for vendors selling on Amazon. It allows these brands to increase commissions for Amazon Associates partners, using Amazon’s own partner network to boost the visibility of their products.
Product Boost is designed for brands like you who have an impact.com brand account. It lets you create either vendor-funded or self-funded campaigns that offer higher commissions to your existing partner network when they promote specific products.
Key Difference: Creator Connections is an Amazon-managed program available only within the Amazon ecosystem. Product Boost is a flexible feature on impact.com that any brand can use at no additional cost, whether you sell directly to consumers or through vendor relationships. Both aim to boost the visibility of products by increasing commissions paid to partners.
