Add & Edit Recommended Categories

Recommended categories are themed categories that you want to highlight to inspire creators' promotional activities. This section is completely customizable and the first 4 active categories will appear on the Dashboard.
Products in this category update in real time, ensuring the latest updates are instantly displayed to creators.
Add a recommended category
You can create a recommended category by specifying a category name and search string. E.g., Trading Cards → Trading%20Cards . You can also assign an image and ranking to the category (remember the first 4 positioned categories are displayed on the dashboard).
In the upper-right corner, select your <Name>
[Drop-down] → Admin.
From the left navigation menu, select Product catalogs, then navigate to the Recommended categories section.
[Toggle on] the Recommended categories section.
Select
Add Category.
Give the category a name and an optional description.
Paste the search string for the category you want to create.
Get the category search string
Navigate to your products page.
Apply a product, brand, or price filter relating to your category.
Navigate to the URL bar and copy the query string after the
?search=parameter.Example: https://acme.creator.com/products/catalog?search=

Upload a suitable image that fits your category.
Below Position, order the category by rank from left to right with 0 being the leftmost category. The first 4 positions (0-3) will be displayed on the dashboard.
Optionally,
[Toggle off] to hide the category.
Select Create.
Edit recommended categories
In the Recommended categories section,
[Toggle off] to hide the entire section.
Below Section name, select Edit to change this section's name.
In the Recommended categories section, select Edit in the category's Actions column.
Make your changes to the category, then select Submit.
