Create a Social Monitoring Policy

A policy allows you to automate the monitoring and remediation of creator content to ensure that your brand is promoted safely, all your tracking links work, and more.

Note

You have a monthly limit of 50 social monitoring policies.

Create a new social monitoring policy

This feature is only accessible to specific impact.com editions or add-ons. Contact us to upgrade your account and get access!
  1. From the left navigation bar, select  [Protect]MonitoringPolicies.

  2. In the upper-right corner, select Create Policy.

  3. Select Social Monitoring, then complete the following sections:

    Details

    1. Enter a policy name.

    2. Select one or more social media properties you want to monitor.

    Content

    1. Select the [Checkbox] Use tracking links if you want to use your tracking links to identify where you're being promoted.

    2. Input keywords, brand mentions, product names, or hashtags that you want to monitor.

    3. Select Next.

    Issues

    1. Select the [Checkbox] if you want to monitor for any broken or expired links.

    2. [Toggle on] Unapproved Mentions and enter negative terms, keywords, or hashtags you don't want to be mentioned that should be monitored.

      • Select the [Checkbox] to import social comments and monitor for unapproved mentions.

    3. [Toggle on] Brand Safety and select a category from the [Drop-down menu] that should be flagged as risks of where you are being promoted on social media platforms.

    4. [Toggle on] Sponsored Post Hashtags and input hashtags to monitor if the correct disclosures are present.

      Note

      You are limited to inputting 100 monitored terms or hashtags.

    5. Select Next.

    Summary

    1. Review the summary of your policy.

      • If you want to edit the policy, select Previous to navigate back to the section you wish to edit.

    2. Select Save.
