Introduction to impact.com Reporting for Brands

impact.com has a powerful set of reporting functionalities which become available to you depending on your impact.com program. This article provides an overview of our reporting suite and outlines their availability per program or account edition. Multi-program reports

The reports listed here are available to both Performance and Creator program types and are limited by account editions. Most of these reports can be pinned for quick access, scheduled to be delivered to your inbox, downloaded (in PDF, Excel, or CSV format), or retrieved via API. Most also offer trend graphs and tables, making it easy to compare key metrics over time.

Data Lab Reports

You can build powerful custom reports for your specific use cases in Data Lab. It allows you to construct reports with various visualizations that display data sets in different ways, depending on the data you choose to include. Learn more about Data lab reports.

Operations Reports

Here, you will find key operational data such as upcoming contract expirations, invalid conversions, and partner application status, so that you can take informed action when making decisions for your partnerships. Whether it's identifying partners running outdated ads, spotting traffic issues, or managing partner group structures, these operations reports ensure that your program remains accurate, up-to-date, and optimized. Listing Reports

These drill-through reports give you access to individual click events, whether it's every recorded click or only those deemed payable. They deliver key insight into click attribution, associated ads, and payout details. Learn more about Listing reports.

Finance Reports

These finance reports give you insight into your account's cash flow and partner-related costs. Track your cash flow over time with the cash flow history report and plan accordingly with the upcoming partner payments report. You can also compare all costs associated with partners (excluding partner payouts) such as make-good payments and performance bonuses with the other costs report. Learn more about Finance reports.

Performance Reports for Brands

Performance reports give you a detailed and customizable look at how your partnership program is performing across a wide selection of metrics. You can track partner activity, the effectiveness of ads, or customer behaviour. See exactly which partners are driving results with metrics like clicks, conversions, and revenue by checking out the performance by partner report, or understand how specific ads are performing and compare their effectiveness through the performance by ad report. Leapfrogging Reports

Here, you can see the final partner interactions in a conversion path within a specified time-frame, providing insights that can help you make informed decisions when calibrating your program's crediting rules and commission structure. Access drill-through reports which offer insights into the details of the leapfrogging such as partners who are winning the most or being leapfrogged the most, specific details about the conversions between partners, and even the conversion path for a selected order. OrderId LookUp Report

Using this report, you can gain more information about a specific order, such as its associated program, its status, and the associated payout. Learn more about the OrderId LookUp report.

Event Risk Reports

Note: These reports are only available with the [Protect] [Protect] add-on.

These reports give you a clear view of risk in your program, allowing you to understand the overall quality of events driven by your partners. The risk by partner report offers an overview of each partner’s risk level, including metrics like total risk across clicks and actions, associated costs, and conversion rates. The same IP actions report helps identify potentially fraudulent activity by showing actions from the same IP address over time for a given event type. Learn more about Event Risk reports.

These reports are specific to [Insights] [Competitive Insights] and are only available with specific impact.com account editions or add-ons. Refer to the Account editions reference for more information.

Finance Benchmark Report

These reports help you understand how your partnership program compares against your competitive segment.

  • Finance benchmark overview allows you to compare your program's metrics to the average performance of similar programs.

  • Finance benchmark partner analysis dives deeper, showing how your partners rank compared to their performance in other programs and highlighting areas where you may be over- or under-performing.

  • Finance benchmark recommendations identifies high-performing partners in your segment who offer strong revenue opportunities for your program and allow you to filter by existing or unjoined partners to determine which partnerships could bring value to your program.

Share of Voice Report

Note: This report functionality is in beta.

Here, you can see how partners promote your tracking links compared to other competing brands. This report offers a view of your brand's visibility compared to your competitors; and can highlight where stronger partnerships may be needed. It streamlines the process of link monitoring by automatically discovering and tracking placements – removing the need for third-party tools or expensive solutions. Benchmark Reports

These reports give you a picture of how your program compares to others, where there's room to grow, and which partners can help drive that growth.

  • Brand benchmarking overview compares your partner program's performance to others in your competitive segment by providing an overview of your partners' activity levels, your programs efficiency, and your partner type distribution among other things.

  • Benchmark partner analysis ranks your partners based on their performance in your program vs. how they perform in others, identifying gaps and opportunities in your program for growth and where you may have over- or under-indexed in different performance metrics.

  • Benchmark recommendations highlights high-performing partners in your segment, allowing you to filter for existing partners or partners who haven't yet joined, suggesting which partners to recruit or invest in.

Industry Insights Report

This report provides you with industry-level insights, allowing you to see the average program metrics for your vertical. These insights are grouped to give you an overview of your program, key program metrics, and the top partners in your vertical. Learn more about the Industry Insights report.

Creator program reports

Creator reports can be found in your impact.com Creator program. They aggregate campaign metrics from various sources such as impact.com's performance data, and external sources such as social media data. See Creator Reports Overview for more information.

Performance Reports

These reports give you a wide range of tracking data broken down by various Creator-driven metrics. They include performance by campaign which groups data according to each of your campaigns, performance by creator which groups data according to each creator, performance by post which looks at individual social posts linked to your creator campaigns, and more. Various KPIs, like actions or click events, can be found in these reports. Learn more about Performance reports.

Creator Wrap Report

This report provides you with a central place to monitor your campaign's performance. You can get key metrics such as the overall campaign performance, top-performing creators and content, and more. After running a campaign, you can share and demonstrate the campaign's value and get actionable insights to optimize your next campaign. Learn more about the Creator Wrap report.

Advocate program reports

impact.com has a variety of metrics and analytics available to help you assess the health and success of your Advocate program. You can find downloadable reports for your program and participant data. All reports have filtering options to allow for greater control over the data you download and each report can be downloaded as a .csv or an Excel file.
