Partner Profile Preview FAQ

See answers to common questions about the partner profile preview feature. Use this FAQ to understand how profile updates work, what changes you can make, and how to resolve common issues.

Do I have to update my profile?

No, updating your profile is not mandatory. However, we highly recommend you complete and polish your profile as it increases your chances of being discovered by brands. If you choose to leave out pieces of information in your profile, brands may perceive it as incomplete and this may affect your partnership opportunities. If your profile is incomplete (e.g., missing properties, image, or description) and shows low engagement, you may risk losing access to the Marketplace and have to re-apply.

Warning: While your profile doesn't need to be updated, you must have at least one verified media property associated with your account.

When will my changes reflect in my profile?

Your changes will not always reflect immediately, so you should allow for processing time. It may take up to 24 hours for any of your updates to become visible to brands.

Can I edit my profile directly from the slideout?

No. Right now, you can only edit your profile information from the settings pages.

Will my profile changes be reviewed?

Only sensitive fields, such as partner name and corporate address, may require review before your updates go live.

Will I get notified if a change is rejected?

Yes, you will get an automated email if a change is rejected.

What if my changes never appear in the preview?

If you've waited for 24 hours and your profile preview still hasn't updated, then contact support.

Can I see analytics on how brands engage with my profile?

This is not available at the moment.

Can I change my business model?

Yes, you can. However, if your business model doesn't match your actual model, we will adjust it to the correct one.

How are categories assigned and can I change which ones are assigned to me?

Categories are derived from the brands you've partnered with, i.e., you inherit your partnered brand's categories. While you can't change your categories at this time, you can add Tags to better specify your content.

How are service areas assigned and can I change mine?

Service areas are derived from your media property data.

Can I change my partner size?

No, you cannot change your partner size.

Why does my media property show an error image?

This can happen if the connection that verifies your identity has been broken, or if the request to show a preview took too long to respond.

  • If the issue is with your authentication connection, you'll see a new task in your Dashboard's To Do List requesting you to reconnect your OAuth.

  • If the issue is because your preview took too long to respond, you may see the preview correctly the next time you open the preview. Your brands will still be able to see your profile preview.

Why does my media property show -- [Empty] for a metric?

This could occur for a number of reasons:

  • The connection that verifies your identity may be disconnected. You may see a new task in your Dashboard's To Do List requesting you to reconnect your OAuth.

  • The request to load your preview took too long to respond.

  • The request to retrieve data for that metric failed.

It's important to ensure your media property is verified and connected.
