Performance by Day by Customer Status Report

The Performance by Day by Customer Status report is the product of combining the Performance by Day and New vs. Return Customer Report report. With this report, you can see the day-to-day action performance breakdown, separated by how you define customer status and have that status reported back to impact.com.

Manage the report

You can schedule or save any reports you create here by using the buttons in the top-right corner of the screen.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Reports → More Reports.

  2. In the Name field, enter "Performance by Day by Customer Status," then select [Search].

  3. Under the filters, in the Name column, select Performance by Day by Customer Status.

  4. Select the filters you want to use, then select [Search].

  5. View the report.

Description

Date Range

Filter for a specific date range of data.

Network

Select the Network (aka Media Source) from which that data will be sourced.

Networks are part of the Optimize Product Suite, and may not be available for some brands, depending on your account level. To learn more about Optimize, reach out to your CSM (or create a support ticket).

Partner

Pick the partner(s) for whom you want to see driven action data.

Action Tracker

Set the event type (formerly, action tracker) for which you want to see tracked action data.

Currency

Select the currency in which you want to see your revenue data.

Show

Add additional data point columns from a selection of choices.

Data point

Description

Payable Clicks

The number of unique clicks tracked.

Gross Actions

The total number of actions (including Reversed Actions).

Gross Action Cost

The total cost of Locked and Open-Ended Actions plus Reversed Action Cost.

Partner Value 1

This is a custom tracking value that you can set for partners.

Partner Value 2

This is a custom tracking value that you can set for partners.

Partner Value 3

This is a custom tracking value that you can set for partners.

Company URL

The URL of the partner, if one exists.

Media Type

The type of partner, if identified.

Partner Id

A unique partner identifier, assigned by impact.com.

Network

A third-party network that won actions during the period specified for this report.

Cost per Action

Total Cost of Actions divided by number of actions.

Imported Cost

The Cost of Actions imported from third-party tracking systems.

Date Joined

The date the partner joined your program.

Click Through Rate

The number of Clicks divided by the total number of Impressions.

Conversion Ratio

The number of actions divided by the total number of clicks.

Relationship Type

The column shows if this is a Direct partner or not. The column will be empty if the partner is not a direct partner.

Return on Ad Spend

This number represents Revenue divided by Total Cost.

Return on Investment

This number represents Revenue divided by Total Business Cost.

Average Order Value

The total revenue of sale actions divided by the number of sale actions.

Margin

This number represents Revenue minus Goods Cost.

Total Business Cost

The total Cost of Goods plus Total Cost.

Discount

The discounted amount captured at conversion.

Client Cost

Client Cost charged by an Agency plus Total Cost.

Discount Rate

The percentage discount calculated as Discount divided by Revenue.

Item Count

The number of products in the basket captured at conversion.

Goods Cost

The total cost of products in the basket captured at conversion.

Reversed Actions

The number of actions that have been reversed.

Reversed Revenue

The total revenue of Reversed Actions.

Reversed Action Cost

The total Action Cost of Reversed Actions.

Reversal Rate

The number of reversals divided by the number of Total Actions.

Raw Impressions

The total number of impressions tracked.

Raw Clicks

The total number of clicks tracked.

Open-Ended Actions

The total number of pending actions.

Confirmed Actions

The total number of approved actions.

Gross Revenue

The total processing and locked Revenue plus Reversed Revenue.

Country

The Country in which this partner is based.

State

The State in which this partner is based.

Report table reference

Table column

Description

Date

A specific date. All data for a particular row was generated on this date.

Customer Status

The type of customer (e.g., existing) that generated data for that row. Learn how to find out what your customer status mapping codes are.

Actions

The total number of conversions (sales, app installs, etc.) tracked for a particular day by a given type of customer. This number excludes any reversed conversions.

Revenue

Total revenue generated on a particular day from a given type of customer.
