Indirect tax is the global term impact.com uses for the Value-added Tax (VAT), what some countries call the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Canada’s Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), the Quebec Sales Tax (QST), and other region- or country-specific tax policies.
If both parties (brand and partner) have indicated that they are tax registered in the same country/region, then taxes will be levied when an action occurs.
When an invoice is generated, the tax portion of the costs is added "per action" and not on the total amount that is due.
Can be charged on partner commissions or subscription fees.
Can be charged on subscription fees.

From the left navigation bar, select
[Menu] → Settings.
Under the General section, select Company Information.
In the Tax information section you can see if you are registered for indirect tax and what your indirect tax number is.
