Score and Decision Ranges

Score Ranges (Event-Level)

An event-level score is assigned to each impression, click, or action. The score identifies three levels of risk based on the severity of the underlying trigger and the number of triggers identified.

0-64

Low

Activity in this range has not been identified as fraudulent.

65-79

Suspect

Activity within this range has passed some risk thresholds. Fraudulent activity is likely.

80-100>

High-Risk

Activity within this range has passed multiple thresholds. Fraudulent activity is highly likely.

Decision Ranges (Aggregate-Level)

In addition to optimizing based on Risk Score, Forensiq recommends considering aggregate risk thresholds. The guide below can be used to interpret the traffic quality for each media partner.

Premium

High quality traffic. Invalid traffic activity may be due to false positives.

3% - 6%

Low

Invalid traffic is not likely. Some invalid traffic may occur at the event level.

6% - 10%

Moderate

Some invalid traffic is likely, concentrated at the event level. Traffic mixing between valid and invalid traffic sources is likely.

10% - 20%

Elevated

Invalid traffic is likely, some concentrated at the event level. Traffic mixing between valid and invalid traffic sources is highly likely.

20% - 30%

High

Invalid traffic activity is likely to affect the entire source. Traffic mixing between valid and invalid traffic sources is highly likely.

30% - 100%

Critical

It is not recommended to buy from sources with invalid traffic levels within this threshold.
