Integrate Your eBay Marketplace Product Catalog

If you sell on eBay, you can send any updates you make to your product catalogs in impact.com to your eBay Marketplace account.

Note

You may incur charges to your eBay account by using this feature. Whether or not you will receive these charges depends on whether you are charged for publishing listings to the eBay platform.

Create an eBay destination

You'll need to create a Destination within impact.com so you can get a catalog that is properly formatted for eBay.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Content → Products.

  2. From the top navigation bar, select Destinations.

  3. Select Create Destination.

  4. Find and select eBay.

  5. Name the destination, select for which product catalog you're creating it, then select Next.

  6. Enter a Test SKU from the product catalog you selected in Step 5, then check that the Sample Values are populating correctly to that product's details.

    • You will need to keep this item's actual details open on a separate tab or browser if you want to cross-check the values.

  7. Select Next.

  8. Select the eBay Marketplace and Language from the drop-down menus. Select these according to which geographic marketplace you sell in and the language you use.

    • See the Marketplace and language reference to see what you should select here.

  9. Select Save And Go To OAuth Page.

  10. After you are redirected, you should land at an eBay login page. Enter your eBay seller account credentials.

    • impact.com does not hold onto these credentials.

  11. Read the terms and select I Agree.

After you select I Agree, the product catalog you selected in Step 5 above will be updated in eBay whenever you update it in impact.com.
