Integrate Your Facebook Business Product Catalog

If you sell using Facebook Business, you can send any updates you make to your product catalogs in impact.com to your Facebook Business account.

Create a Facebook Business destination

You'll need to create a Destination within impact.com so you can get catalogs in Facebook Business aligned with your catalogs in impact.com.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Content → Products.

  2. From the top navigation bar, select Destinations.

  3. Select Create Destination.

  4. Select Facebook Ads.

  5. Name the destination, select for which product catalog you're creating it, then select Next.

  6. Enter a Test SKU from the product catalog selected in Step 5, then check that the Sample Values are populating correctly to that product's details.

    • You will need to keep this item's actual details open on a separate tab or screen if you want to cross-check the values.

  7. Select Next.

  8. Enter a set of credentials you will use later when you set up your data feed in Facebook Business. Copy these credentials into a word processor for now.

  9. Under the URL field, select Copy. Paste this URL into a word processor for now.

  10. Select Save.

Set up a catalog data feed in Facebook Business

Now that you have the URL needed to create a data feed in Facebook Business, you can create the feed.

You will perform the following set of directions in Facebook Business.

  1. Log into your Facebook Business account.

  2. From the left navigation bar, select [Menu]→ Commerce Manager.

  3. Under Catalogs, select the product catalog that you want to connect to impact.com.

  4. In the left navigation menu, select Catalog → Items.

  5. In the top-right corner, select Add Items [Drop-down menu] → Add Multiple Items.

  6. Select Data Feed, then select Next.

  7. Select Scheduled Feed.

  8. Paste the credentials you copied in Step 9in the previous section.

    • You can return to that URL by returning to the Destinations screen in a separate browser or tab, finding the Actions column, then selecting [Drop-down menu] → Connection Settings on the row of your Facebook Business Destination to copy the link again.

  9. Enter the credentials you created in Step 8 in the previous section.

    • You can return to that URL by returning to the Destinations screen in a separate browser or tab, finding the Actions column, then selecting [Drop-down menu]→ Connection Settings on the row of your Facebook Business Destination to copy the link again.

  10. Select Next.

  11. Schedule when Facebook should check for updates to your impact.com product catalog.

  12. Complete your data feed setup.

Facebook Business will now check for any changes to your product catalog according to the intervals you set in Step 11.
