Create Custom Attribution Models

impact.com uses payout models to inform how partners should be paid out for their contributions towards a conversion. You can create custom payout models that can align more closely with what partner contributions (like introducing a customer to the conversion journey) your partnerships program values using the Model Builder.

Why use a custom model?

Custom models allow you to take any pre-constructed attribution model and modify it as needed to better suit your program needs. Changing how the conversion path is formed and how credit is distributed across path touchpoints is done by creating a more unique model, which ultimately provides you with a solution that can better help you accomplish program goals.
