What is an intermediary bank?

An intermediary bank is a third-party financial institution that facilitates international wire transfers between two banks that lack a direct relationship. These banks are also known as correspondent banks.

Limitations with intermediary banks

Using intermediary banks creates limitations because impact.com does not solicit intermediary bank details in your withdrawal settings. impact.com can only facilitate payments directly to your intended bank account. Payments sent to intermediary banks will fail and be returned.

Effectively using intermediary withdrawals as a partner

You can include the final destination banking information to make withdrawals possible, which would be your personal banking details.
