Request Content from Brands

You can submit Requests to brands you work with if you need a specific type of content (including assets).

Submit a content request

  1. From the top nav bar, select Content → Requests.

  2. In the upper right corner, select Request and choose the content type you want to request.

  3. In the Brand Details section, choose the Brand from the dropdown and optionally the Deal associated with the brand's content.

  4. In the General section, add details specific to the content request type, the date needed, exclusivity request, and an optional example.

    Refer to the details section below for help by selecting the request type you want to submit.

  5. Use the additional instructions comment box to add details about your request.

  6. Select Submit to send your request to the brand. View the Status column to understand the processing of your request.

Asset request details

Each request type has unique quantities—see the table below to learn specific details for each type. View Asset Types Explained for Partners for further information on the various asset types.

Request TypeDescription
ImageChoose the image size from the dropdown, measured in pixels. If you can't find the size you need, select Other and then use the Comments section to specify your request.
EmailChoose between HTML or Image content for an email asset.
Sponsored TextIf you work with multilingual brands you can request the language of the asset, otherwise it will use the brand's default.
Text LinkIf you work with multilingual brands you can request the language of the asset, otherwise it will use the brand's default.
CouponIf you work with multilingual brands you can request the language of the asset, otherwise it will use the brand's default.
ArticleIf you work with multilingual brands you can request the language of the asset, otherwise it will use the brand's default.
VideoChoose between .MP4 or .FLV format for a video asset.

Request status

If you've requested content from a brand, you can check your request's status in impact.com. Once a request has been submitted, the brand is notified and can begin processing the request.

  1. From the top navigation bar, select  Content → Requests.

  2. Find the request you want to view the status of.

    • View the request type, asset type, when the asset request was placed and when the asset request was reviewed.

Open

The request is open and awaiting a response from the brand.

Approved

The brand has approved the request and is working on completing it.

Rejected

The brand rejected the request—refer to their comments for a rejection reason.

Completed

The brand has completed the request.

Follow up on requests

If a request has been pending for some time, or, if you made a request you want to cancel, we recommend you contact your partnered brand directly to discuss the request.

  1. From the top navigation bar, select Content → Requests.

  2. Find the request you want to inquire about and select the brand you want to contact.

  3. From here, you can use the phone number or email address to contact your brand associate.
