Set up Automatic Payments as a Brand

You can set up direct deposits and automatic payments for your Impact account. This will take care of your Impact Fees as well as your Partner Payment Invoices. You will need to make a successful ACH payment (direct deposit) before you can set up automatic payments.

Note

Automatic payments are currently only available to impact.com accounts that have their currency set as USD (U.S. dollar $).

Make an ACH payment

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment needs to be completed before you can set up direct deposits so Impact can ensure you will not run into any issues with making automatic payments.

  1. From the left navigation bar, select [Menu] → Finance.

  2. From the left navigation bar, select Deposits.

  3. In the top right corner, select Make Deposit

    • If this button does not appear, you may not have the permissions needed to make a deposit. Reach out to your Account Administrator about obtaining these permissions.

  4. Next to Payment Type, select ACH.

  5. Enter the requested information.

  6. Select Continue.

  7. Double-check the information you entered, then, next to Your Name, enter your name.

  8. Select Submit.

This payment will need to be successfully completed before you can set up direct depositing. ACH payments usually take 3-5 days to process.

How often do auto payments happen?

This depends on how you set up the Forecast Window and Check my account funding fields. The system determines an amount and cadence based on these fields and your upcoming due costs.

  1. From the left navigation bar, select [Menu]→ Finance.

  2. From the left navigation bar, select Settings → Automatic Payments.

  3. In the top-right corner, select Edit.

  4. Select Automatically fund my account.

  5. Fill in the requested information.

    Forecast Window

Enter how many days into the future Impact should look to figure out how much your account should fund itself.

    Check my account funding

Select how often (daily or weekly) Impact should check to ensure your account will have enough funds to cover your payouts.

    Payment Threshold

Select [Unchecked box] if you want a hard cap on how much money Impact can automatically fund your account before requesting permission. You will receive an email to approve the funding amount.

If you enable this setting, enter your approval limit and select which Impact account user will receive the email.

    Authorize

Select [Unchecked box] to give Impact the authorization to automatically make withdrawals from the bank account you enter details for below.

You must select this box to enable Automatic Payments.

    Your Name

    Enter your name.

    Account Holder

Enter the account holder's name as listed with the financial institution.

    BSB

Enter one of the following codes as they pertain to your bank account: BSB, Routing Number, IFSC, Transit Number, SORT Code.

    Account Number

Enter the bank account's account number.

    Account Type

Select whether the bank account is a Checking or Savings account from the drop-down menu.

  6. Select Save.

Once you successfully set up Automatic Payments, Impact will only notify you of an automatic payment request processing if the request lands above your Payment Threshold. Payments usually take 3-5 business days to process.

You can also manage the settings listed below once Automatic Payments are successfully set up.
