By default, active partners can view tracking links and create new tracking links that forward visitors to your landing page. If enabled, partners can also create deep links to specific pages.
This article will demonstrate the key configurations you need to enable for tracking links to work seamlessly for your partners, ensuring they can generate and use links as intended.

Use these steps to enable or disable the creation of tracking links for partners and manage visibility settings:
From the left navigation bar, select [Menu] → Settings.
In the left column, under Branding, select Partner Console Branding.
In the Media Partners Defaults section, locate Dashboard Tracking Link Generator.
To enable this setting, select [Toggle] Allow partners to generate tracking link from their dashboard.
To disable this setting, select [Toggle off] Allow partners to generate tracking link from their dashboard.
Select Save.

From the left navigation bar, select [Menu] → Settings.
Under the right column, under General, select Ad Settings.
To enable this setting, in the Ad Types section, locate Online Tracking Link and select [Checked box] Enable visibility of Online Tracking Link to partners.
To disable this setting, in the Ad Types section, locate to Online Tracking Link and deselect the [Checked box].
Select Save.
Warning: If Deep Linking is already [Toggled on], we highly recommend that you do not disable this setting. Disabling deep linking can affect your program and change your Marketplace Listing for partners.

From the left navigation bar, select [Menu] → Settings.
Under the right column, under Tracking, select Gateway.
In the Deep Linking field, select [Edit].
To enable this setting [Toggle on] Allow Partners to deep link to specific pages on my site.
To disable this setting [Toggle off] Allow Partners to deep link to specific pages on my site.
Select Save.

In the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Content → Ads.
Locate Online Tracking Link from the list of ads and select Update.
In the Deep Linking field, select [Edit].
To enable this setting, [Toggle on] Support Partners linking to specific pages.
To disable this setting, [Toggle off] Support Partners linking to specific pages.
Select Save.
You can troubleshoot to fix link issues, such as malformed links, which are incorrectly formatted and prevent proper use, and expired links, which no longer work because the destination is unavailable. Learn more in this article.
Error message: "The link you clicked on is malformed. Contact the editor of the originating page."
This error may occur if deep linking is not enabled. To resolve this:
Navigate to [Menu] → Settings.
On the right, in the the Tracking section, select Gateway.
In the Deep Linking section, select [Edit] and [Toggle on] Allow Partners to deep link to specific pages on my site.
Specify the base domains to which you allow partners to deep link.
Domains should be comma-separated with no spaces. Wildcard characters are supported. E.g., yoursite.,*.yoursite.
Select Save.
Alternatively, you may not have block rules set up. To check whether you do:
Navigate to [Menu] → Settings.
On the right, in the Technical section, select Blocking & Redirect.
Ensure that you have a block rule set up. Learn more on how to Configure Block Routing Rules.
Error message: "The link you clicked on has expired. We apologize for any inconvenience."
The partner may be blocklisted from your program. If you want to remove the partner from the blocklist, contact support.
