Create a Vanity Link

Vanity links are short, customizable links that you can use in place of regular tracking links. If a brand you've partnered with permits deep linking, you can share the vanity links on your promotional sites and deep link directly to a specific page on the brand's website, like a specific product listing.

You can have up to 5,000 active vanity links at any time. If you've reached the limit, be sure to delete vanity links that aren't active.

Create a vanity link

  1. On your partner account dashboard, in the right-hand column, locate the CREATE AND SHARE LINK widget.

  2. From the  [Drop-down menu], select the program for which you want a tracking link.

  3. Optionally, enter a Landing Page (website URL) for where you want your vanity link to direct users. The URL must include a protocol.

    • https://—The link will only use the secure version of HTTP. strongly recommends serving content securely using this option.

    • http(s)://—The link will attempt to use the secure version of HTTP but will use unsecured HTTP as a fallback.

    • If left blank, users will be directed to the program's default landing page.

    • Note that a brand may choose to disable deep linking for its program, in which case you won't be able to enter a landing page. Learn more.

  4. Optionally, select Advanced to append any desired Sub IDs, a Shared ID, or a Promotional Property to the link.

  5. Next to the shareable link, select [Edit] to edit the URL slug and create a vanity link.

    • Remove the text after the ( / ) and input your own letters (e.g., /anvils).

  6. Select [Check] → Create to save and generate your vanity link.

On the Manage Vanity Links page, you can filter for specific landing page URLs or vanity links as well as modify, copy, or delete vanity links. Learn more here.
