Partners can be added to any of your existing saved template terms at any time. You can either provide partners with branded sign-up links so that they can apply to your template terms, or you can add partners to template terms yourself. Once added, you can review active and pending partners for all of your template terms.
Below are ways in which you can add partners to your template terms:
From the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Contracts → Template Terms.
Find the template term to which you want to add partners and select Actions [Drop-down menu] → Get Branded Links.
Copy the link provided in the Promo Page Link field.
This link will direct partners to your branded promotional page where they can review your template terms before they sign up.
Note that each template term has a unique branded link associated with it.
Send the link to partners so that they can apply to your program by means of your chosen template term.
impact.com recommends using your public template term branded link on a program landing page for applications from new partners with whom you haven't yet worked.
Your custom template term branded links should generally only be sent to partners with whom you're already familiar. However, anyone who accesses this link will be able to apply to your program. You'll be able to review any proposals before accepting them.
From the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Contracts → Template Terms.
Find the template term to which you want to add partners and select Actions [Drop-down menu] → Add Partners.
In the Media Partners field, you can:
Add existing partners
Use the search box to find partners from your existing partner list.
Add new partners
Select [Drop-down menu] Add manually to add new partners individually.
See the Add new partners in bulk section below to add multiple new partners at once.
When adding new partners manually or in bulk, do not add more than 1 entry or email address for a single partner. Doing so can cause you to receive a surplus of notifications if the partner proposes changes to your template terms.
In the Contract Dates field, you can set:
Start Date
Use the date picker and dropdowns to set a start date for when the template term should take effect.
Length
Use the dropdown to make your contract either Ongoing (with no defined end date) or Temporary (with an end date that you define).
Optionally, use the checkbox to set a fallback template term which should take effect once the temporary contract ends.
In the Approval Options field, you can select:
Replace
This option automatically replaces any existing contract you may have with the added partner.
Propose
This option requires the added partner to approve the new template term before it can take effect.
Use the checkboxes to set an expiration date which the partner must approve, or to prohibit counter offers from the partner.
Optionally, select [Toggle on] Send an ad with this proposal for faster media partner integration if you have an ad ready to go.
Optionally, in the Comments field, include a short message for the partners you've added.
This message will be sent via email and is limited to 1024 characters.
Select Send to complete the process.
