Tracking & Deep Links for Partners Overview

When you partner with a brand, you'll gain access to a range of their ads that you can promote. These ads use impact.com tracking links to attribute actions to you, which can lead to payouts.

Depending on the brand, sometimes tracking links can also be deep links, which will send a user directly to a specific page on the brand's website or app. Learn more about mobile partnerships.

Find if you can deep link

Deep links send customers directly to what you're promoting, potentially driving your actions faster.

Brands you've partnered with control your ability to deep link.

  1. From the top navigation menu, select Brands.

  2. From the marketplace navigation menu, select My Brands.

  3. Select the brand for which you want to check if you can deep link.

  4. On the right side of the card, find the Details tab and navigate to the How we track section.

    • If there is a  [Check] next to Deep Linking, you can deep link with this brand's ads.

    • If Deep Linking is greyed out, you cannot deep link with this brand's ads. Reach out to the brand if you want to use this feature.

You can also check if you can deep link with specific ads.

  1. From the top navigation menu, select Content → Assets.

  2. From the left navigation bar, navigate to the Deeplinking filter, then select Supported.

    • All the ads that support deeplinking will be displayed.

Once you've confirmed that your partnered brand allows deeplinking, you can start creating tracking links.

  1. Create and deep link a tracking link.

  2. Deep-link without logging into impact.com.
