Manage Creator Campaign Applicants

The campaign manager enables you to invite new creators to your campaign or filter through, reach out, and pay active creators. You can also pause campaign applications restricting new creators from applying.

impact.com allows you to accept a creator either to a specific creator campaign or to your overall program. To better understand the possible scenarios when recruiting creators or processing creator applications, see Recruit Creators.

Scenarios when recruiting or processing applications

See the scenarios below to better understand what happens when a creator joins your creator campaign, and where to find the creator in each scenario.

Creator has existing contract with you
  • If a creator applies to your creator campaign from the marketplace while already joined to the associated program, you can locate and manage their application as follows:

    1. From the left navigation bar, select [Engage] [Engage] → Campaign Manager → Creator.

    2. Hover over the campaign for which you want to manage applications and select Manage Campaign.

    3. Under the top navigation bar, select the Applied filter. From here you can manage your campaign applications.

  • Alternatively, if you invite the creator to your campaign via the marketplace and they accept, they'll be automatically approved to your program and the campaign they were invited to, and you can locate them in either of the following areas:

    • [Engage] [Engage] → Partners → Creators

    • [Engage] [Engage] → Campaign Manager → Creator → Manage Campaign → Hired.

Creator has no existing contract with you

If a creator applies to your creator campaign from the marketplace without first joining your associated program, impact.com registers this as a double application to both the campaign and the program, and the applications will appear in both the Campaign Manager and Applications screens:

  • To approve the application for the program only, accept the application under [Engage] [Engage] → Partners → Applications.

    Screenshot_2024-11-28_at_10_44_12_AM.png
  • To approve both applications simultaneously, hire the creator from the Campaign Manager as follows:

    1. From the left navigation bar, select [Engage] [Engage] → Campaign Manager → Creator.

    2. Hover over the campaign for which you want to manage applications and select Manage Campaign.

    3. Under the top navigation bar, select the Applied filter. From here you can manage your campaign applications.

      • Refer to the remainder of this help article for further guidance.

      Screenshot_2024-03-07_at_9_13_44_AM.png
  • Alternatively, if you invite the creator to your campaign via the marketplace and they accept, they'll be approved automatically to both the campaign and the program. You can then locate them under [Engage] [Engage] → Partners → Creators.

Creator joins via campaign Invite link

If you invite a creator via a campaign Invite link, you are essentially inviting them to both the creator campaign and your associated program. If the creator signs up via the link, they will be approved automatically for your program (if they aren't already joined). You can then manually approve their campaign application as follows:

  1. From the left navigation bar, select [Engage] [Engage] → Campaign Manager → Creator.

  2. Hover over the campaign for which you want to manage applications and select Manage Campaign.

  3. Under the top navigation bar, select the Applied filter. From here you can manage your campaign applications.

Creator joins program only
  • If a creator applies as a partner to your associated program, you can locate and manage their application under [Engage] [Engage] → Partners → Applications. This is true whether they apply via the Discover marketplace or a template term sign-up link.

  • Alternatively, if you invite the creator directly to your associated program from the marketplace and they accept, they'll be approved automatically for the program. You can locate them under [Engage] [Engage] → Partners → Applications, in the Processed tab. See Review Partner Applications for more guidance.

Find campaign applicants

  1. From the left navigation bar, select Campaign Manager → Creator.

  2. On the Campaign Manager screen, select the Active tab to view all your currently active campaigns.

    • Each campaign provides a summary of the most important insights, like who applied, your budget spent, and more.

  3. Hover over the campaign you want to manage and select Manage Campaign.

  4. On your selected campaign's screen, select Applicants.

    • Refer to Filter applicants to easily filter through all your applicants.

  5. Select the applicant's name for quick access to their creator profile.

  1. Within an active campaign, select Invite Creators in the upper-right corner.

    • Send invite: Invite the creators to the campaign's default SOW.

    • Invite with custom proposal: Customize the campaign's default SOW to fit specific creators' profiles currently active in the marketplace. You specified the SOW when you created the campaign.

    • Copy Invite Link: Copy the campaign's invitation containing either the default or custom SOW.

Remove an applicant from the campaign

  1. Hover over an applicant you want to remove and select [Menu] [More].

  2. Select Remove from campaign.

Warning: Removing an applicant from a campaign cannot be undone.

Pause campaign applications

When you pause campaign applications, new creators won't be able to apply to a campaign during the paused period. Pausing applications is useful when you receive an influx of applications and need time to review them.

Only the following creators can still proceed with their applications when a campaign is paused:

  • Creators who have been invited can still accept or negotiate campaign invites.

  • Creators who have already applied or are in negotiation can view and edit their proposals.

  • Creators who have already applied or are in negotiation can still be hired if a campaign is paused.

  1. From the Campaign Manager screen, hover over the campaign for which you want to pause applications, then select Manage Campaign.

  2. In the upper-right corner, select [Menu] [More]Pause New Applications.

    • You'll see a [Pause] [Pause] icon next to your campaign name.

    • You can repeat the steps and select Resume New Applications if you want to continue receiving new applications.

Bulk manage applicants

  1. Select the [Checked box] [Checkbox] next to an applicant or [Checked box] [Checkbox] Select all below the filters.

  2. Based on the applicant's application stage, you can Hire, Reject, Move to in review, Move to alternates or group these applicants.
