Deep Link an Ad

If you've enabled deep linking for your program, each ad you upload can be configured to deep link a visitor to a specific landing page URL. For example, if you've created an ad for a specific product, you can specify that ad to send a visitor directly to that product's specific URL.

Set up deep link permitted domains

You must provide permitted domains for deep linking to work. Submitting these allows traffic to land at a deep-linked page on your website. Learn more about permitted domains and how to set them.

Deep link a specific ad

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Content → Ads.

  2. Either select Create New to create a new ad, or find an existing ad you want to update and select Update.

  3. Find the Landing Page line item, then use the dropdown to select Custom.

  4. In the URL field, enter the exact URL (without https://) to where you want the ad to send visitors.

  5. Select Save.

Deep link ads in bulk

This will update multiple ads to deep ink to the same page on your site.

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Content → Ads.

  2. Find the existing ads you want to update and select [Checked box] in the upper-right corner of the ad you want to update.

  3. At the top of the list (below the filters), select More actions → Change landing page.

  4. In the modal, use the dropdown to select Custom.

  5. In the URL field, enter the exact URL (without https://) you want the ad to send visitors to.

  6. Optionally, choose to reroute mobile traffic from this ad if impact.com didn't detect that your app is already installed by enabling the [Toggle on].

  7. Select OK.
