What Causes Overdue Payouts?

Overdue payments are payments that are due to you as a partner and can be viewed in the overdue action earnings report. In this article, we will explain what might cause payouts to become overdue. Learn more about overdue payouts.

You may have overdue payments for the following reasons:

  • Your account failed to meet Qualify-to-Pay status (US accounts only)

  • Your provided bank account information is incorrect

  • Your partnered brands have under-funded their account

Your account is not Qualify-To-Pay compliant

Note

Only US-based accounts have to be QTP compliant in order to get paid through impact.com

Qualified To Pay (QTP) is a set of rules that determine if you can be paid or not. If the rules are not met impact.com sends you a notification via email indicating the issue that will need to be addressed in order for you to get paid.

If your account is missing the W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification form) or if your account’s payment information isn’t consistent with your submitted W-9 form, your account will not be QTP compliant, and you will not be eligible for payouts.

As a partner, your identity must be verified before you can receive payouts. Verification includes having a valid tax ID number or enterprise ID number, as well as a valid bank account to receive payments. If bad information is initially provided, it can prevent your account from being QTP compliant.

If your bank account information is not consistent with your W-9 form, you can either resubmit your W-9 form with details that match your bank account details or you can update your bank account details to match your submitted W-9 form.

Once you’ve corrected the violation you received via email, the QTP flag will automatically be removed from your account, and you will be eligible for payment during the next payment cycle should you have funds available to be withdrawn.
