A Nota Fiscal is a document that businesses in Brazil must issue after receiving payment for a product or service. The Nota Fiscal acts as a record of the transaction, and is used for many purposes such as a receipt for returns, evidence of tax due, and a record for stock-keeping. In short, the Nota Fiscal aims to register the transfer of possession of any good or service that a Brazilian business provides to another entity that's doing business in Brazil.
You need to submit a Nota Fiscal if you are an impact.com partner in Brazil wanting to receive payouts from a partnered brand in Brazil. If you wish to work with both Brazilian and non-Brazilian brands, you'll need 2 impact.com accounts. You'd then follow the Nota Fiscal process on the first account but not the second.
If you're a Brazilian partner with BRL set as your chosen currency and are only partnered with Brazilian brands, this is what will happen:
You promote a Brazilian brand and earn a commission.
The commission appears in your earnings account balance.
If you haven't already done so, you're instructed to fill in your banking details and withdrawal settings on impact.com.
Follow the instructions in How to get paid in Brazilian Real (BRL). (Your Autopay settings must be set to withdraw when your balance reaches a threshold of BRL30, not on a fixed date.)
Now you are required to register an invoice (Nota Fiscal) with your local tax authority in the amount you wish to withdraw from your impact.com earnings account. In the example below:
Company Name: Impact Radius Technologia Ltda.
Address: Avenida Bernardino de Campos, 98, 14º andar, sala 7, Paraíso, 04004-040
City: São Paulo
State: São Paulo
CNPJ (Cadastro Nacional da Pessoa Jurídica): 23.008.224/0001-45
Lastly, you are required to email the Nota Fiscal to Juliana Souza Romeiro at HLB Brazil (
juliana.romeiro@hlb.com.br
) and tonotafiscal@impact.com
.Juliana will review and accept the Nota Fiscal on behalf of HLB Brazil before forwarding it to impact.com’s Global Clearing House team for final approval.
