When you connect your media properties to the impact.com platform, a verification process is set into motion to establish that you are the rightful owner of the connected media properties. This process facilitates your receipt of future payments by confirming your identity and the credibility of your promotional channels.
Note: The steps below are only necessary if your properties have failed verification in the app or through self-verification via the website.
Connect your website, social media profiles, mobile apps, podcasts, and other media properties to impact.com so that brands can see where you promote to your audience.
From the left navigation menu, select [Menu] → Settings.
Alternatively, for Creator accounts, in the upper-right corner, select [User profile] → Settings.
Under the Profile section, select Media Properties.
In the top right corner, select Create Media Property → {the type of media property you wish to connect}.
Follow the prompts to fill in the necessary fields / log in to the social media platform.

Description
The business/personal website that you use to advertise to your audience. These can be verified.
The social media profiles, pages, or communities that you manage or advertise on.
WeChat, Weibo, and LinkedIn cannot be verified.
Facebook properties require a Facebook Page. Facebook profiles cannot be added.
All other social media options shown can be verified.
Any mobile apps on iOS or Android that you manage, own, or advertise in—like a mobile game. These cannot be verified.
Emails or newsletters that you send to your audience and advertise in. These cannot be verified.
Recorded podcasts that you own, manage, or advertise in. These cannot be verified.
Any other properties you use to advertise that don't fit into the above categories. These cannot be verified.

Follow these instructions to supply impact.com's compliance team with the information they need to verify your identity and the legitimacy of your media properties.
At the top-right corner of the partner Dashboard, select the verify your identity in the Security Alert banner notification.
Select the green Get Verified button to start the verification process:
A pop-up modal will appear, select Use a smartphone to submit your identity verification via phone.
Alternatively, if you prefer using your computer, select Continue with your current device at the bottom of the modal.
You will then be prompted to confirm your identity, select the blue Let's go button at the bottom of the modal. Be sure to have your government-issued identity card/document on hand.
You'll need to take the following images and ensure that the document is valid and the photo is clear:
The front of your identity card/document (e.g., a passport, driver's license, or national ID card)
The back of your identity card/document
A selfie
Once you submit your photos, the process will begin and should only take a few minutes to verify. Once complete, you should see successful submission confirmation.
Once the verification process is complete, you will receive feedback on whether your identity has been successfully verified.
If the verification is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from impact.com.
If additional steps are needed, follow the instructions provided in your email for further assistance.
impact.com processes a large number of media property verification requests, but rest assured that your request is in progress. impact.com's verification process may require some time, but this ensures thoroughness and accuracy. Typically, the verification of media properties takes between 7 to 10 working days.
Tips to minimize the impact of the delay:
Avoid logging unnecessary support tickets as this will increase the number of requests that need processing.
Double-check that you have no payment requirements which could extend the delay more than necessary.
