Connect your social media accounts from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, and more to your impact.com partner account.
From the left navigation menu, select [Menu] → Settings.

Under the Profile section, select Media Properties.

In the top right corner, select Create Media Property → Social.

impact.com allows you to automatically add a social media property with any of the following platforms:

Facebook accounts

Instagram Business & Instagram Creator accounts
Important: Your Instagram account needs to be linked to a Facebook page before you can verify it on impact.com. Read more on how to link your Instagram account with your Facebook page from Instagram's help center.

From the Add a Social Property screen, select the social media platform you would like to add.

Log in to your chosen platform to complete the process of adding and verifying the social media property.
Once you’ve added a handle for a social platform, you won’t be able to change it. If you added the incorrect handle and want to change it, you will need to delete that property and connect a new one.
For other platforms not shown like Tiktok, LinkedIn, WeChat, and Weibo, complete all fields with information about your social media profile/page:
Name
Provide the name of your social media profile or page — this will appear in the Name column when viewing the Media Properties screen and will be displayed to your brands.
Description
Provide a description of your social media profile or page, limited to 1000 characters, including spaces. This description will be displayed to your brands.
Social Platform
Use the [Drop-down menu] to select which platform this media property is on. Currently, available options include:
Facebook
Twitter/X
Instagram
Pinterest
LinkedIn
YouTube
TikTok
Twitch
WeChat
Weibo
URL
Provide the full URL that visitors use to access your social media profile or page. Optionally, depending on the platform, you could enter a handle instead of a URL.
Handle
(Optional) Provide the unique "handle" (i.e., the username) you use to identify yourself on the platform you've selected (e.g., a Twitter/X "@" name, Facebook username, etc.).
Select Save to finish adding your social media profile.
impact.com requires users to connect their social media profiles to the platform to verify that they own the accounts. When you connect your profiles, you will be asked to give certain permissions to Activate Holding LLC (a subsidiary of impact.com) to access your account. Learn more about how impact.com uses the required social media permissions.
Most social media properties can be automatically verified by signing in to the account via the impact.com platform. If your social media account fails to verify automatically, follow the instructions in Complete your Media Property Verification Process or contact support.
The social media profile (or URL) provided must exactly match your actual profile in order to be verified. impact.com currently offers automatic verification with these platforms:

On the Media Properties screen, hover your cursor over your social property and select Verify.

In the modal, follow the instructions to sign in to your social media account. Once completed, your social media property will be verified.
For some platforms, you may see Activate by Impact as the integration/application name. When verifying your social media properties, impact.com only collects and stores your account name/handle and your subscriber/follower count.
