Mobile Tracking Using MMPs Explained

Mobile Measurement Platforms (MMPs) measure and track cross-channel marketing programs for mobile apps. If you use an MMP and want to drive in-app conversions, impact.com can integrate with that MMP.

How does MMP tracking work?

When a user clicks on a link, the link will be redirected through the MMP. You can pass specific parameters you want to track including the ClickId to impact.com. The MMP controls whether the user lands in the app, in the app store, or on a mobile webpage.

Prerequisites

  • You are using an MMP (see impact.com's supported MMP integrations).

  • The MMP has all the required parameters you are using or expect to use to pay your partners.
