Create Tracking Links via the Chrome Extension

Once you've set up the impact.com Chrome extension , you can begin creating tracking links for brands with which you're partnered.

1. In your browser, navigate to a product page you want to promote on the website of a brand with which you're partnered.

Open the extension

A notification will appear in the upper-right corner if the website domain matches one on the impact.com platform to which you have permission to create a link.

• Alternatively, in the upper-right corner of your browser panel, select the extension's icon.

Manually paste the product link

1. Select one of the brand's programs from the Program [Drop-down menu].

   • If you have multiple program options here, you can select [Star] → Set as Default to auto-select a specific program when visiting the brand's page in future.

2. Optionally, creators participating in campaigns can connect links to campaigns and tasks by selecting a campaign. This option will only be available to creators that are participating in active campaigns.

   • Under Task, use the [Drop-down menu] to choose the task with which this link should be associated.

   • Select Advanced [Expand] to add additional reporting parameters to your campaign-specific link.

3. To add additional reporting parameters to your tracking link, select Advanced [Expand].

   • Set your Sub ID and Shared ID parameters.

   • If you intend to share the link on a specific media property, select the relevant option from the Media Property [Drop-down menu]. This will let you easily identify which media property was responsible for link traffic in reporting.

     • If you have multiple media property options here, you can select [Star] → Set as Default to auto-select a specific property when visiting the brand's page in future.

4. Select Create Link.

   • You can [Edit] or [Copy] the generated link.

   • To create a vanity link, select the generated link. You can then edit the slug (the text appearing after the forward slash) to create your custom name.

   • If you have multiple partner accounts tied to your username, use the [Drop-down menu] in the upper-left corner to swap between accounts and create links for each.
