Create a Social Monitoring Policy

A policy allows you to automate the monitoring and remediation of creator content to ensure your brand is promoted safely, all your tracking links work, and more.

Note: Only content from creators currently joined to your program is being imported.

Create a new social monitoring policy

  1. From the left navigation bar, select [Protect]MonitoringPoliciesarrow-up-right.

  2. In the upper-right corner, select Create Policy.

  3. Select Social Monitoring, then select 1 scenario to guide the policy:

    Description

    Unapproved Terms

    Monitor your creators to ensure that their content aligns with your policies.

    Brand Safety

    Monitor your creators using advanced machine learning to protect your policies and reputation.

    Disclosure Verification

    Monitor creator posts to validate presence of sponsored content disclosures and hashtags.

  4. Select Get Started.

  5. Complete the following sections:

  1. Enter a policy Name.

  2. Select one or more social media Properties you want to monitor.

  3. Select Next.

  1. Enter the keywords, brand mentions, product names, or hashtags associated with your brand that you want to monitor.

  2. Select Next.

  1. Enter any terms or hashtags you don't want associated with your brand, such as competitor brand mentions.

  2. Select Next.

  1. Choose categories of content you don't want associated with your brand, such as profanity or drugs.

  2. Select Next.

  1. Enter the hashtags you want your creators to use to indicate if their post is sponsored.

  2. Enter the hashtags for content that you want impact.com to check for sponsorship disclosures.

  3. Select Next.

  1. Optionally, select any of the [Unchecked box] [Unchecked boxes] to automatically manage any issues in your identified content.

  2. Select Next.

  1. Review the summary of your policy.

    • If you want to edit the policy, select Previous to navigate back to the section you wish to edit.

  2. Select Save.
