Recruitment Agent Explained

impact.com’s Recruitment Agent gets configured when you sign up for a new program and automates partner application processing by evaluating partner applications, accepting those that fit with the brand's preferences, and allowing them to start promoting you instantly.

Recruitment Agent benefits

  • Access Top-tier curated partner lists: The Recruitment Agent identifies productive, exclusively vetted partners. It organizes them into curated lists by product and promotion channel and recommends them based on Google Merchant product sales data.

  • Customized auto-approval rules: Recruiting conditions are tailored to your preferences and marketplace profile configuration.

  • Capture interest when it’s highest: Delays in approval can cause partners to lose interest or pivot elsewhere. Auto-approval lets them act while your brand is top of mind.

  • Stand out to partners: If you keep the Recruitment Agent enabled, you get featured and highlighted on the partner's dashboard and marketplace.

Recruitment Agent best practices

  • Review partners when they become click-active. You can review new click-active partners in two ways:

    • Partner Productivity Report: Refer to Partner Name and First Click Date to see when the first click was driven by a partner since joining your program.

    • Processed partner applications: All the partners processed by the Recruitment Agent will be filtered separately.

  • Reach out to your newly added click-active partners — Engage with new partners as they join your program to facilitate their successful next steps.

  • If you see accepted partners in your program that aren’t a good fit, expire their contracts.

Brand safety

The following partners won’t be added to your program by the Recruitment Agent:

  • Partners on your blocklist.

  • Former partners with expired contracts, whether:

    • You expired the contract

    • The contract is deprecated

    • The contract is suspended

  • Partners flagged for fraudulent behaviour.

Review your Recruitment Agent configuration

You are unable to opt out of the Recruitment Agent configuration when signing up for a new program. However, if you prefer more manual control over partners' application reviews, you can follow these steps:

  1. Select the Curated strategy as this strategy auto-approves the fewest partners, focusing only on high-quality, high-earning, vetted partners.

  2. After completing the checklist, modify the partner processing conditions to review, edit, pause, or delete the workflows.
