Payable Click Data Report

The Payable Click Data report is a drill-through report that can be accessed by several reports, including the Performance by Partner and Performance by Day reports. This report shows you details about the clicks deemed payable as per CPC V2 processing. Details include tracking details like the partner who drove the click, and payout details like the click cost.

Access the report

  1. Select the hyperlinked number in the Payable Clicks column of the origin report, or from the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Reports → More Reports → Payable Click Data.

    • If you navigate to the screen from another report, your chosen filters will persist from the origin report.

  2. Below the Payable Click Data report title, you can filter for the data you want to view. Select [Search] when you have the filters in place that you want.

Filter
Description

Date Range

Filter data by when it was created. The report pulls a default of 14 days of data, and only for dates after April 8, 2024.

Network

Filter by the data source for which you want to view payable clicks, e.g., Direct through Impact, All, ShareASale.

Partner

Filter by the name of the partner for which you want to view payable clicks.

Ad Id

Filter by the unique identifier of the ad for which you want to view payable clicks.

Shared Id

Filter by a specific SharedId string that the partner attached to their tracking link for reporting purposes.

Click Id

Filter by the unique identifier of the click you want to view.

Show

Add columns to the report from a selection of choices. These will get added to the table after you select [Search] [Search].

Column

Description

Geo

Show the geographical location associated with the click source.

Device

Show the Type of device on which the click was performed, the device operating system OS, and the associated web Browser.

Classification

Show how the click was classified by Tracking:

  • U — unique

  • D — duplicate

  • B — bot

  • X — blocklisted

  • C — add to cart

  • E — excluded

  • BR — blocking rule

  • DB — dupe blocked

  • RR — redirect rule

  • RI — redirect interstitial

  • DI — dupe interstitial

  • ? — unknown

Method

Show the tracking method by which the click was registered:

  • API

  • GATEWAY

  • IMPORT

  • TAG

  • N/A

Media Property Id

Show the unique identifier of the partner web property associated with the click.

Media Property Name Historic

Show the previous name of the partner web property associated with the click. E.g.: Twitter, Musical.ly, YouTube.

Media Property Name Current

Show the name of the partner web property currently associated with the click. E.g.: X, TikTok, YouTube.

Media Property Type Historic

Show the previous type of partner web property associated with the click. E.g.: Website, Social.

Media Property Type Current

Show the type of partner web property currently associated with the click. E.g.: Website, Social.

  1. Add or remove columns from the report table using the [Columns] icon at the top-right of the report.

    • See the Report column reference below for more information on the data displayed in the report.

Description

Click Date

The time and date that the click was registered.

Ad ID

The unique identifier for the ad that generated the click.

Ad

The name of the ad that caused the click.

Partner

The name of the partner who drove the click.

Click Cost

The aggregated value of the amount due to the partner for driving clicks.

CPC Error code

The error code associated with a click payout (if relevant). If no error code has been specified for a specific error instance, this will remain blank. For each of the following error instances, no payout will occur:

INVALID_CLASSIFICATION — click was classified in a way where CPC payout would not occur, i.e., Classification was neither U / E.

CONTRACT_NOT_FOUND — no contract exists for the “CLICK” event type.

CLICK_TRACKER_NOT_FOUND — a contract exists for the “CLICK” event type, but there's no "CLICK" event configured.

CPC_V2_ACTIONTERMS_NOT_FOUND — a contract exists but not a CPC V2 contract.

UNKNOWN_PARTNERVALUE1 — the partner identified for the click is unrecognized.

DUPLICATE_CLICK_ID — the click was flagged as a duplicate.

EVENT_DATETIME_TOO_FAR_IN_FUTURE — the click has an event date time > 10 minutes in the future.

OVER_LIMIT — a CPC payout limit was in place that prevented payout.

Shared ID

The custom sharedId string that the partner added to their tracking link for reporting purposes.

Click ID

The click's unique identifier.

IP Address

The IP address of the user device on which the click was performed.

Referring URL

The URLarrow-up-right of the webpage from which the user was directed to perform the click.

Landing Page

The web page to which you specified the user be directed upon clicking the ad.

Referring Domain

The addressarrow-up-right of the website on which the user was directed to perform the click. If the column shows no referring domain, it could be due to any of the reasons listed in this article.

Click payout

The payout amount owed to a partner. Click payout may be 0 for certain payable clicks, e.g. when a click is beyond the CPC Limit you specified.

Region

The geographical region in which the click occurred.

City

The city in which the click occurred.

Type

The type of device on which the click was generated. E.g.: Tablet.

OS

The operating system of the device on which the click was generated. E.g.: macOS, Windows.

Browser

The web browser of the device on which the click was generated. E.g.: Safari, Chrome.

Classification

Show how the click was classified by Tracking:

• U — unique

• D — duplicate

• B — bot

• X — blocklisted

• C — add to cart

• E — excluded

• BR — blocking rule

• DB — dupe blocked

• RR — redirect rule

• RI — redirect interstitial

• DI — dupe interstitial

• ? — unknown
