Content Rights for Performance Campaigns Explained
Note: This functionality is in beta. Contact your CSM or our support team if you'd like to test this feature.
When configuring a Performance campaign, you can request usage rights for all content generated for the campaign. The table below describes the different usage options and their scope.
Organic social reposting on a brand's owned and operated channels
You may only repost a partner's content on your own channels and give credit to the partner by tagging or mentioning their handle in the content.
Paid social rights (paid retargeting from a brand's handle)
You may use a partner's content in sponsored ads under your brand's account.
Paid amplification
You may boost content to reach a targeted audience.
Organic + paid social rights (paid retargeting from a brand)
This is a combination of the 3 usage right options above.
Full digital usage rights (including paid social, digital banner ads and email marketing)
These are all the usage right options above, but they also include the right to repurpose partner content in digital marketing, such as digital banner ads, email marketing, and more.
Full digital usage rights and out of home / point of sale usage rights
These are all the usage right options above, but they also include the rights for you to repurpose partner content for out-of-home and point-of-sale marketing; such as posters on bus shelters, signage in malls, and digital ads on kiosks in airports.
