Understand Your Marketplace Application Status
In impact.com's marketplace, you can discover thousands of brands to work with. To join the marketplace, you first need to apply and be approved. This guide explains how to check your application status and improve your chances of approval.
The statuses in this guide relate only to your marketplace application and are different from your relationship status with individual brands (e.g. Pending, Active, or Declined).
Marketplace application statuses
After you request to join the marketplace, your application goes through the following statuses:
In Review — impact.com received your application and will review it for authenticity and compliance. You'll receive a decision within 72 hours.
Approved — impact.com found that all is in order with who you claim to be and your media property ownership. Your public profile is now live in the marketplace for all brands to see.
Declined — Your partner account did not pass impact.com's compliance standards and your application was rejected.
Did you know? A partner's marketplace access can be revoked for suspicious activity, like fraud, even after initially being approved.

If you don’t have access to the marketplace and none of the application statuses apply to you, you may be in a direct (exclusive) relationship with a brand. Depending on the brand’s rules, you may have to create a separate partner account to access the marketplace. Contact your brand directly if this is the case, or otherwise contact support.
Why we decline applications
impact.com is committed to building a high-quality marketplace where brands and partners can build mutually beneficial relationships. For this reason, we need to ensure that every brand and partner on the marketplace is properly screened. If your application was declined, it was likely related to 1 of the issues outlined below.
Incomplete information
We can't confirm you are who you claim to be.
Fill out your company and public profile information thoroughly. Double-check that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and verifiable.
Media property concerns
We can't verify the social media accounts you added belong to you or meet our quality standards.
Ensure the social media accounts you add to your profile are connected and your websites are verified. Connecting ALL your media properties gives you the best chance of approval.
Limited reach or activity
Your media properties don't yet show enough traffic or audience to support valuable partnerships with brands.
Continue building your online presence and reapply to the marketplace once your reach has grown. In the meantime, consider connecting directly with brands to build your reputation.
MPA Violations
Your account has been flagged internally for concerns around fraud or policy violation.
Always adhere to impact.com's Master Program Agreement (MPA).
Reapply to the marketplace
If you believe your application was declined by mistake, contact your Partner Development Manager (PDM) to appeal the decision on your behalf. Be prepared to provide any additional information that may help our team re-evaluate your application. If you're unsure who your PDM is, contact support.
