Overview by Story Detail Report

This article covers the Trackonomics: Overview by Story report, a drill-down of Overview by Story. Use this report when you need to review 1 story or post in detail. It shows key metrics, performance trends over time, and the products sold through that story.

Access the report

1. From the top navigation menu, select Trackonomics → Overview by Story.

2. Select the date range you want to review.

3. From the report table below the Overview graph, find the story you want to analyze.

4. In the story's row, select View Report.

Other actions you can take

After the detail report opens, you can use the actions in the top-right area to manage or share the report.

• Select [Email] to send the report by email.

• Select [Schedule] to set up recurring delivery.

• Select [Download] to download the full report or available sections.

  • Hover over a specific report section to select [Download] and download that section, if available.

  • Hover over a specific report section to select [Export] and export that section through the API, if available.

Report sections

The Trackonomics: Overview by Story report includes these sections:

Page info

This section displays the basic details for the story you are analyzing.

Column	Description
Page Title	The title of the story.
Page URL	The direct URL of the story.
Page Image	The primary image associated with the story.
Page Authors	The author or authors of the story.
Page Publication Date	The date and time the story was published.
Item Sale Amount	The total revenue generated from sales attributed to this specific story.

Summary metrics

This section provides 4 key performance indicators (KPIs) for the story over the selected date range.

Metric	Description
Clicks	The total number of clicks on tracking links within this story.
Item Sale Amount	The total revenue from all items sold through this story.
Commission - Gross	The total gross commissions earned from sales attributed to this story.
Earnings Per Click	The average commission earned for each click originating from this story (Commission ÷ Clicks).

Performance over time

This interactive line chart visualizes the performance trend of a selected metric over your chosen date range. You can hover over the chart to see data for a specific day.

• Item Sale Amount—The total revenue generated from items sold through the selected story during the selected period.

• Item Quantity—The total number of items sold through the selected story during the selected period.

Sales dispersion

This bar chart provides a visual summary of your top-performing products, helping you understand if your story's revenue comes from many different products or is concentrated on just a few.

Product performance

This table provides the most granular view, listing every individual product sold as a result of clicks from this story.

Column	Description
Advertiser Name	The name of the brand for whom the product sale was driven.
SKU	The Stock Keeping Unit or unique product identifier.
Product Name	The name of the product that was purchased.
Item Quantity	The number of units of the product that were sold in the transaction.
Item Sale Amount	The total revenue generated from the sale of that specific product.
