#### Retrieve the email asset code

Once you have access to an email asset you want to use for the brand you want to promote, you can retrieve the asset's code from the *Assets* screen.

1. From the top navigation menu, select **Content → Assets**.
2. Search for the email asset.
   * You can use the tabs at the top of the page to assist your search. For example, set the *Assets* tab to **Email** to view email assets only.
3. Once you select the asset you want to get the code for, a slide-out will appear on the right. The details of the email asset will appear in the slide-out. This includes any deals related to the asset as well as *Approved Subject Lines* and *Approved "From" Address Names*.
4. Optionally, you can copy either of the **Scrub Download** or **Unsubscribe** links.
5. Select **Get Email Code**.
6. From the *Email Code* screen, you can also choose to set any [Sub IDs](https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/tracking/tracking-links/link-parameters/sub-id-and-shared-id-parameters-explained-for-partners) or a [Shared ID](https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/tracking/tracking-links/link-parameters/sub-id-and-shared-id-parameters-explained-for-partners).
   * Some brands will require you to set the asset's Shared ID to a specific value before you use the asset.
7. Near the bottom of the *Email Code* screen, select if you want to serve the asset's **HTML File**, **Tracking Link**, or **IFrame**.
   * Not all of these options may be available depending on the brand.
8. Select **Copy Code**.
9. Make sure your *subject line*, and *"From" address name* are the same as those that have been approved. Place the *code*, *download link* (if required), and *unsubscribe link* into your email or emailing automation tool and send the email out.
