# Daily Action Digest Email Explained

The Daily Action Digest is a single daily email that gathers your most important account updates and outstanding tasks into one prioritized summary, so you can see what needs your attention without logging in to check. It arrives with the subject line *Daily Digest* and is addressed to you by name.

Instead of a separate email for every event, your notifications are grouped into one daily email, with the items that can affect your pay shown first. You can still choose to receive any notification as its own individual email if you prefer. See [Manage your digest](#manage-your-digest) below.

## What's in your Daily Action Digest

Your digest is organized into three sections, always shown in this order. Each item shows a count next to the notification's name, for example, *3 Application Message*. Select an item to go to that area of the platform.

<table><thead><tr><th>Section</th><th>What it covers</th><th width="118.05078125">Items shown</th><th>Examples</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>👀 <em>Top of the to do list</em> — "These items could affect your pay!"</td><td>Time-sensitive updates about contracts, compliance, payment eligibility, and processed payments that need your attention.</td><td>Up to 4</td><td><em>Advertiser Proposed, Advertiser Declined, Advertiser Terms Updated, Payment Processed, Content Rejected, Social Media Posting Error</em></td></tr><tr><td>🎉 <em>Opportunities</em> — "We love being the bearer of good news."</td><td>Positive updates, such as featured campaigns, approvals, and available content.</td><td>Up to 2</td><td><em>New Campaign Invitation, Campaign Now Live, Content Approved, New Brand Offer, Task Created</em></td></tr><tr><td>🗒️ <em>Admin tasks</em> — "Yep, even the boring bits count."</td><td>Account maintenance items.</td><td>Up to 2</td><td><em>Account Checklist Update, Bank Account Update, New Document Required, Unread Message, Team Member Joined</em></td></tr></tbody></table>

## How items are prioritized

Each section shows your highest-priority items first. If a section doesn't have enough high-priority items on a given day, the digest fills it with your next most relevant updates, so the email still gives you a useful snapshot. Because you can have many updates in a day, each section shows only its top items. To see the rest, select **View More**.

## Open and act on your digest

Use the links in each digest section to review updates and complete your tasks.

* Select an item to go straight to the relevant screen for that update.
* Select **View More** at the bottom of each section to go to your home screen, where your To Do List widget shows everything waiting for you.
* Select **Sign In** to log in to [app.impact.com](https://app.impact.com/).

## Manage your digest

You control which notifications arrive in your Daily Action Digest from your notification settings. Most of your partner notifications are set to arrive in the digest by default.

To receive a particular notification as its own individual email instead, change that notification's delivery in your notification settings. Your Daily Action Digest keeps arriving as long as at least one notification is set to the daily digest. Switching a notification to individual emails, a weekly digest, or off removes it from your Daily Action Digest. If no notifications are set to the daily digest, the digest stops sending.

For step-by-step help with these settings, see [Configure Platform & Email Notifications for Partners](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/dashboard/configure-platform-and-email-notifications-for-partners.md).

## Who receives the Daily Action Digest

The Daily Action Digest is rolling out to creators and partners first, with other user types to follow. Branded partners are not included in the first release.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/dashboard/daily-action-digest-email-explained.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
