You can explore your account’s performance data, including metrics like clicks, actions, and sales, with the option to filter and compare results across a variety of dimensions.

  • An analytics query should always include a time frame like today, this week, last month, in the last X days, or between a start and end date.

  • If you ask for dates like this week, or last month, the time period will start on the day the period starts, e.g., Monday, first of the month, or first of the year.

  • If you ask for in the last X days the time period is calculated by counting backwards from today.

  • The time frame cannot span more than 365 days.

  • If you'd like to get the full list of measures and dimensions that you can query, simply ask "Which measures and dimensions can I query?"

ask impact supports data visualizations. Whenever you ask for data broken down over time—such as daily or monthly figures—a chart is generated to help show the trend.

If you’d like a specific chart type, request it directly by name, such as a line, area, or bar chart. If you don't specify a chart type, ask impact will respond with a bar chart.

You can request that ask impact provides results in a specific format, including:

  • Unordered (or bullet point) list.

  • Ordered (or numbered) list.

  • Table.

  • Paragraph.

  • Plain English.

Compare data across programs, or time periods. You can ask impact to compare 2 entities using the same metric, such as total clicks or revenue.

It’s also possible to compare data across time—whether you want to see how one month compares to another, evaluate year-over-year change, or measure performance over two custom periods.

You can ask impact to compare up to 2 elements at a time, such as 2 programs, or 2 dates.

chevron-rightAsk follow-up questionshashtag

ask impact supports natural, flowing interactions. Once you’ve asked a question, you can follow up with another request that builds on your previous one.

For example, after getting a total value, you might want to see how that number splits month by month, or you might switch to a different metric altogether.

There’s no need to rephrase the full question each time. The query's context is maintained, so you can keep exploring a line of inquiry without starting over.
