# Add Collections & Products to Your Storefront on the Mobile App

## Organize your tabs

Tabs are the top-level sections that group your collections on the public storefront. In setup, select **Manage Tabs** to add, rename, reorder, hide, or delete a tab. Give each tab a name — you must add at least one tab with a name before you can save.

{% hint style="success" icon="circle-info" %}
**Note:** A tab that contains collections can't be deleted — hide it instead. You can delete a tab only when it's empty; its collections stay available under All Collections.
{% endhint %}

## Create & manage collections

Collections let you group related products into curated sets your audience can browse on your storefront. An empty tab shows *No Collections* with the prompt "Create a collection and start adding products."

1. In setup, select **Add Collection**. A new collection stays private while you build it — you can make it public once it has a name and at least one product.
2. Add a name and, optionally, a description.
3. To add a cover, select **Upload Media** (an image or video) or **Add Social Post**.
   * To change an existing cover later, select **Edit** and choose new media or a social post.

{% hint style="success" icon="circle-info" %}
**Note:** To use a social post as a collection cover, first add that social account to your storefront from your [profile](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/impactcom-mobile-app/mobile-app-creator-storefronts/set-up-and-manage-your-storefronts-on-the-mobile-app.md).
{% endhint %}

4. Select **Add Products,** then find products by browsing the categories, searching the catalog, or narrowing with **Filter**, **Sort**, **Brand**, and **Category**. Select each product you want — your choices appear under *Selected Products*, where you can remove any before adding — then select **Add Products (N)**.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://347878556-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fb2rE79d9UhOKZQLgzSqx%2Fuploads%2FHXFLSBFMYZLkDHZtIOs2%2FUmbrella%20Corp.%20(1).png?alt=media&#x26;token=acf4c7b6-09c8-4a40-a9f0-558050777f12" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

5. Reorder products by dragging. To remove a product from the collection, confirm when prompted.

Reorder collections within a tab by dragging. Each collection has **Edit, Share, Hide,** and **Delete** actions in setup, and saving one shows a *Collection Created* or *Collection Updated* confirmation. To change a collection's visibility, use **Show Collection** or **Hide Collection** — hidden collections show a *Hidden* badge and don't appear on your public storefront.

To share a single collection, select **Share** from the collection's actions to copy or send its **collection link**.

{% hint style="success" icon="circle-info" %}
**Note:** A collection needs a name and at least one product before you can make it public. Trying to show an empty collection displays *Cannot Show Collection*: "This collection is currently empty. You need to give it a name and add at least one product before you can make it public."
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/impactcom-mobile-app/mobile-app-creator-storefronts/add-collections-and-products-to-your-storefront-on-the-mobile-app.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
