# Sign Up as a Partner on impact.com

This article will provide you with the steps you need to successfully join impact.com as a partner.

If you want to join impact.com as a partner, you will need to create an account by completing the following steps:

**Step 1: Sign in via email or social pages**

1. Navigate to the [sign-in](https://app.impact.com/login.user) page and select **Sign up as a Partner**.
2. Select your preferred language in the upper-right corner.
3. Opt to **Sign up with email** or sign up with your social account (**Apple SSO, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn,** or **Google**).
   * If you opt to sign up with your social account, you’ll have to use your account’s login credentials.
4. Check the *Media Partner Service Agreement* and the *Master Campaign Agreement* boxes to accept the terms and conditions of using impact.com.

5. Select **Get started**.

**Warning:** Ensure that your chosen username is less than 20 characters long, otherwise you will get an error message saying that it is invalid.

**Step 2: Verify your mobile number**

1. Enter your verification code sent to your mobile phone.
2. Select **Verify**.

**Step 3: Select your primary business model or category**

1. Select a category that best describes the method you use to promote brand content.
2. Select **Continue**.

| Email/Newsletter            | Partners who have an audience that subscribes to their email or newsletter that brings together valuable content, discounts, and other information.                                                                                             |
| Search/Comparison           | Search Engine, Social, or Programmatic marketers that manage keyword campaigns for brands, often on a performance basis.                                                                                                                        |
| Network                     | Partner platforms that broker access to brand campaigns and provide tracking, reporting, and payment services.                                                                                                                                  |
| Technology Solution         | Site-side shopping tools or services that drive conversion optimization for brands.                                                                                                                                                             |
| Cross Audience Monetization | Businesses that publish offers, content, and complementary products to current customers or audiences (e.g., exit traffic, improved UX) to drive incremental revenue.                                                                           |

**Step 4: Select your promotion method**

1. Add any promotional methods you use to promote brands.
   * Added promotional methods need to be verified to prove you own the method.
2. Select **Continue**.

**Step 5: Complete your account information**

1. Specify whether it’s an individual or company account:
   * **Individual:** For an individual or creator who promotes brands across their own media properties.
   * **Company:** For a member of or representing a company that promotes brands across its media properties.
2. Complete the account information fields.
   * Account display name (The name displayed to brands on your profile, showcasing your professional identity)
   * Company website (for company accounts)
   * LinkedIn company page (for company accounts)
   * Country/Region
   * Mailing address
   * Timezone
   * Currency
     * Your currency cannot be changed after this step.
3. Select **Submit**.

**Step 6: Verify your email address**

1. Select the link emailed to your sign-up email address.
   * Remember to check your spam folder.
2. Select the link in the email to complete the verification process.

**Step 7: Complete your indirect tax information**

**Important:** If you are registered for indirect tax, **you must add your indirect tax information**. Adding or changing this information will later affect whether you are taxed the appropriate rates and whether the correct tax amounts appear on your monthly invoices. * Select whether or not you are registered for indirect tax.
  * If you are registered for indirect tax, you’ll need to provide the country/region in which you are registered and your indirect tax number.

**Step 8: Enhance your profile**

1. Fill out the following sections:

   | Company Information    | <p>Here you will add:</p><p>• <strong>Logo</strong>: A PNG, JPG, or GIF image of your company's logo can be uploaded here. Recommended size is 150 x 150 pixels.</p><p>• <strong>Description</strong>: Tell brands about yourself or your company as well as your content.</p><p>• <strong>Content and Interests</strong>: Brands can find you by searching keywords. E.g., Lifestyle, health, fitness.</p><p>• <strong>Business Model</strong>: You can select the model your business fits best from the drop list.</p> |
   | Additional Information | List any additional links with information to share with brands.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          |
   | Contacts               | Select at least one user to be displayed as the point of contact when brands are reviewing your profile.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  |
   | Media Kit              | If you have one, Upload a PDF of your media kit. You can upload multiple.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
   | Pause Profile          | Pausing prevents your profile from being shown to new brands. You are still visible to and can work with your existing brands.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            |
2. Select **Save**.

**Step 9: Modify your media properties**

If you make use of a website or social page, you will need to verify at least one of the media properties. There are multiple ways to verify your properties depending on the type of media property you have set up. **Step 10: Submit your application**

impact.com will review your application within two business days. Once approved, you'll be able to work with brands immediately.
