# Step 4: Promote your Partnered Brands!

You can post [various asset types](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/marketing-content/brand-assets/asset-types-explained-for-partners.md) that brands might make available to you. Once you know what product or content you want to promote for the brand you are partnered with, the next step is to promote the relevant tracking links or content to drive the action or click.

Driving actions or clicks and having those actions or clicks tracked are key to getting paid by brands you partner with. If your [actions or clicks are not tracked](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/tracking/why-was-my-order-not-tracked.md), no payout will occur. Make sure you meet the requirements stipulated in your [contract with the brand](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/working-with-brands/contracts/contracts-explained-for-partners.md). If you want to receive real-time updates about conversions you drove, you can [set up event notifications](/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/action-management/receive-conversion-updates-as-a-partner.md).
