# Step 2: Apply to Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs let you promote the brands and products you already know and love—and naturally promote new brands you're interested in. They’re a great way to earn consistently on your content by sharing commissionable links or promo codes! These programs are often evergreen without a start and end date.

Find and [apply](https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/working-with-brands/applying-to-brands/find-and-apply-to-brands) to affiliate programs on the **Discover → Find Brands** page.

#### After you apply

1. The brand receives your application. They may negotiate compensation, tasks, or other details with you.
2. When the application is approved or rejected, you'll get an email and in-app notification.
3. Your finalized [contract](https://help.impact.com/partner/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/working-with-brands/contracts/contracts-explained-for-partners) will show the brand's commission details and requirements.
4. Create and share your links or promo codes to start earning!
