# Discover Your Invoicing Method

Brands and partners using the impact.com platform will have any transactions incurred, invoiced for or to them based on a particular invoice method. Invoicing methods are determined based on the impact entity that the brand or partner engages with. This is largely determined based on geographical location.

The two invoicing methods employed on the platform are:

* Direct invoicing
* Invoicing via an impact.com entity

If you have signed up to impact via our *UK*, *Singapore* or *Australian* entity, or else are in the regions of *EMEA*, *South East Asia/South Asia* or *Australia/New Zealand*, you would be using the invoicing method of **invoicing via an impact.com entity**.

It is worth noting that even if you are on the invoicing method of *direct invoicing*, you may have invoices to or from an impact.com entity. This *occurs when the counterparty* to a particular transaction *has the invoicing method of invoicing via impact.com entity*.

In the event that you are on the invoicing method of invoicing via an impact.com entity, you can then expect:

* All invoices generated to be to/from a single counterparty (impact.com entity)
* Consistent indirect tax treatment across all transactions

To learn more about the various invoicing methods and how it works, see [Understanding impact.com's Invoicing Methods](/other/readme/understanding-impactcoms-trading-models.md).
