Activate is an impact.com company that has activated over 75,000 influencers and creators to publish more than 6,500 pieces of collaborated content per month. Activate leverages impact.com’s partnership platform tracking, performance-based compensation, and reporting.
To work with Activate influencers in impact.com, you will need to:
Enable FTP uploads for partner fund transfers
Create template terms for Activate influencers
Partner with the Activate partner account
From the left navigation bar, select
[Menu] → Finance.
Select Transfers.
Select the FTP Settings tab.
In the FTP Upload line item, select
[Edit].
[Toggle on] the Enable FTP Upload setting to on.
Select Save.
From the left navigation menu, select Contracts → Template Terms.
In the upper right corner, select Create Template Term.
For the Name, enter something that will help identify the terms. E.g., Activate Terms.
For Event Type, select Online Sale.
If you only want to use link tracking and not payouts, skip steps 6-8 below.
- [Toggle on] Payout Groups to on.
Select Add new and set the payout group up as follows:
Rules: Referral Ad Program Id is 0
Payout: percentage payout is 0
Select Add.
Select Add newto add additional payout types according to the commissions you want to offer influencers as a payout.
Be sure to set the Referral Ad Program Id to 1, 2, 3, etc. for each unique payout rule you set.
If you want multiple criteria for the same payout tier, you can create conditions and align them to the same Referral Ad Program Id.
Scroll down and select Save.
Now we need to offer our new terms to the Activate partner in the impact.com Discover marketplace.
From the left navigation bar, over the
[Discover] and select Discover.To find the Activate partner profile, select this link.
Select Propose Contract.
In the Template Term line, select your newly created Activate Terms.
Set the Start Date to today.
Scroll down and select Submit.
Read the disclaimer and select I understand, continue.
Payments for the hiring of influencers in Activate happens through your impact.com digital wallet via a Partner Funds Transfer (PFT).
When you create an invoice in Activate (either prepayment or individual hire), Activate will automatically send a PFT request to your impact account so that you can fund these invoices via your impact.com wallet. This Partner Funds Transfer will appear in your account within 24 hours and an impact.com invoice will be generated for their next billing cycle.
From the left navigation bar, select
[Menu] → Finance.Select Transfers.
Set Funding Status to All.
Select
[Search].
Once the PFT is complete, the funds are then distributed to your hired influencers in Activate.
Once an influencer uses a link, clicks and conversions are immediately tracked in the impact.com platform. You can view performance metrics in impact.com, by influencer partner, from the Performance by Partner Shared ID Report.
From the left navigation menu, select Reports → More Reports.
In the Name field, type Performance by Partner Shared ID and select
[Search].
In the Name column, select Performance by Partner Shared ID.
Under Performance by Partner Shared ID, select your desired Date Range.
For the Partner filter, select Activate (1318832).
Optionally, filter by Influencer by entering the Influencer’s name in the Shared Id filter.
Select
[Search].
