Where Do I Find Ads & Tracking Links as a Partner?

After joining a brand, you can find tracking links for their ads in impact.com. These links track and attribute credit to your account for driving actions and conversions, which advertisers pay you for.

Retrieve an ad code

  1. In the top navigation bar, select Content [Drop-down menu]Assets.

  2. In the Actions column on the right, select Get Ad Code for the ad you would like to promote.

  3. Select either HTML or Iframe for the code your website uses.

  4. Select Copy Code.

You can refine your search to retrieve codes for specific ads.

  • To search for an ad by its name, label, or number ID, enter that under the Recently Uploaded column on the left and select [Search].

  • To search for a particular brand's ads, select that brand from the Brand drop-down menu and select [Search].

  • To search for a specific ad type, select the Ad Type drop-down menu and either enter the ad type at the top of the list or select the ad type from the list.

  • To search for a specific deal type, select your preferred deal type from the Deal Type drop-down menu and select [Search].

Add links to social media

Some social media platforms have restrictions or format requirements when using links. Below are most known restrictions, but you'll also need to research how your platform of choice handles promoting with links. If you run into issues when promoting on social media, you'll need to troubleshoot the issue with that platform.

LinkedIn

Do not use white space in links (e.g., https://www.ACME Corp.com).

TikTok

Links can only be added to business accounts with more than 1,000 followers. If you don't meet these requirements, consider linking your Instagram or YouTube account to TikTok and hosting links on those sites.

Keep link lengths short

Social Media Character Limits

  2. From here, you can add SubId values, SharedId values, specify the landing page to send traffic to, and select HTTPS if you want to serve the ad securely.

  3. Select Generate Custom Code to update the tracking link.
