Send a Proposal to a Prospect

You can send proposals to prospects at any time. The process to do so is similar to sending the prospect an email. You have 2 ways to send proposals:

  • Send a proposal from the Prospects screen.

  • Send a proposal when viewing their profile.

Send a proposal from the Prospects screen

You don't need to view the prospect's profile to send them a proposal.

  1. From the Prospects screen, find the prospect to whom you want to propose a contract.

  2. Hover over their line in the table. At the right end of the line, select [More].

  3. Fill out the proposal form.

  4. At the bottom of the form, select Submit.

Send a proposal from the prospect's profile

You can also send the prospect a proposal when you're reviewing their profile.

  1. From the Prospects screen, find the prospect whose profile you want to view.

  2. Select their line in the table. Their profile should appear.

  3. Review their profile as needed.

  4. When you're ready, look under their logo on the left to find the Send Proposal option.

  5. Fill out the proposal form.

  6. At the bottom of the form, select Submit.

What to include in your proposal

Regardless of how you send a proposal to the prospect, you must include the following details:

Proposal Detail

Description

Insertion Order

Which set of template terms you want this prospect to sign to.

Contract Dates

The dates of the contract. Select Ongoing the Length of you don't want the contract to have an end date.

Approval Options

You'll need the prospect to agree to the terms, so you can only select Propose. You can choose if you want this proposal to have an expiration date and if you don't want to let the partner counter the offer, however.

Message

Write a message that will appear with the proposal. Consider including why you want to work with this partner, how they'd benefit from working with you, or why this is a good proposal.
