Add Labels to Your Products to Appear in Gift Guides

Add labels individually

1. Open the specific product details page in Shopify.

2. In the Tags section, enter the name of a tag you want to add, or select it from the list of existing tags. If you enter the name for a new tag, then it will automatically be created for future use in the section.

   • See the Labels reference below for the correct label-to-category mapping.

3. Select Save.

Add labels in bulk

1. From your Shopify admin, select Products.

2. Check the product you want to tag.

3. Select Add tags.

4. Select all the tags that you want to add.

5. Select Save.

1. Generate your product catalog with Google Merchant.

2. Add a custom label field (e.g. custom_label_4) with its relevant label to the relevant products in your Google Merchant product catalog and upload it to impact.com.

1. View the Custom Format file fields.

   • Ensure you are looking at the Custom Format tab by selecting it at the bottom of the screen.

2. Input the relevant label in the Labels field when adding the catalog in the impact.com platform.

3. If you have not mapped the labels previously, you’ll need to update the product feed. To do so, simply update your product labels.
