# Seller Explained for Retailers

impact.com’s Seller solution allows you to strengthen your relationships with the sellers[^1] on your platform, increase your brand visibility, and grow sales with minimal lift and cost. Working with your sellers on impact.com also unlocks future opportunities to collaborate on Product Boost or Performance campaigns for mutual growth.

## What Seller offers retailers

* **Passive growth** — Your sellers fund payouts to partners for driving increased sales on your platform. You don’t have to lay down additional marketing spend or take on extra work.
* **Stronger merchant relationships** — You offer your sellers added value by helping them increase sales of their products.
* **Increased platform activity** — A by-product of your sellers’ partners promoting their products is that they also drive more traffic and sales on your platform.
* **Ongoing collaboration** — Once your sellers are on impact.com, it’s easier to work with them on other mutually-beneficial initiatives, like seller-funded Product Boost and Performance campaigns.

You'll simply:

   * You may also receive applications from sellers seeking to create a dedicated program with you.
3. Approve the Seller programs, confirming which sellers you want to share data with.
4. Track the performance of your sellers, gaining insight into which have the best-performing partner networks, products, and which drive the most sales and revenue on your platform.

## Build on the passive benefits

Once your sellers are active on impact.com, the opportunities expand beyond just passive growth. You can merely enjoy the benefits of sellers driving traffic and sales on your platform, or you can take a more active role in growing revenue.

### 1. Develop a partner network

Expand your reach by [discovering](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/performance-program/recruiting-partners.md) and [engaging](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/platform-features/reach-out-to-partners.md) partners you can work with directly to drive traffic and sales to your platform. This helps diversify your revenue channels and increases the value you can offer your sellers through further collaboration opportunities.

### 2. Collaborate further with sellers

Work with your sellers on initiatives like seller-funded [Product Boost](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/beta-product-boost/beta-product-boost-for-vendors.md), [Creator](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/creator-program/creator-campaigns-for-brands.md), and [Performance campaigns](/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/performance-program/beta-performance-campaigns.md) to maximize mutual growth.<br>

[^1]: A brand or merchant who manufactures products and uses a retailer's eCommerce platform to reach new customers. E.g. a gadget supplier like Dynamite Labs who sells on WayneMart.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/seller-program/beta-seller-for-retailers/im-a-retailer/seller-explained-for-retailers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
