Get Started with Seller as a Retailer

impact.com’s Seller solution allows your sellers to collaborate with you to increase sales activity on your platform. Seller requires minimal lift from you, letting your sellers build and manage their own partner networks. You simply enable the tracking and approve their programs, and they handle the rest.

Prerequisites

  • Retail Media-enabled program — You must have Retail Media enabled on an existing impact.com program. This lets you configure program settings and signup links for your sellers and access reports on their performance.

  • Program data sharing — To work with sellers, you’ll need to share relevant program data with them. After a seller signs up and creates their Seller program, you’ll be asked to approve it, which enables data sharing and allows you to start working together.

  • Item-level data sharing — Your setup with impact.com must share item-level order details, along with any order updates like returns. This ensures that when a customer returns just one item from a bigger order, we can adjust the relevant seller's payout without affecting the rest of the transaction. Learn more about batch modifications and reversals.

  • Compliant product catalog — Your Retail Media-enabled program must have product catalogs containing all SKUs that sellers will use in their Seller programs, including all variant SKUs and Buy Box contenders. These catalogs must be refreshed daily.

Next steps

Once your sellers have signed up and created a Seller program, you must approve it to confirm that you want to share program data with them. After approval, your sellers will be active, and you can continue to manage any new applications you receive from other sellers.
