Create & Share Tracking Links with Partners

You can assist your partners with creating tracking or vanity links and sharing them on an ad-hoc basis.

Create a tracking link

1. From the left navigation menu, select [Engage] → Partners → Partners.
2. From your partner list, hover over the partner for whom you want to create a tracking link, then select [More] → Tracking → Create a link.
3. Optionally, specify an alternative landing page and select Advanced to add Sub IDs, a Shared ID, or a verified partner property to the tracking link for reporting purposes.

   Note: Sub IDs are optional and partners use them for additional tracking values.
4. Select Create.

   • To edit the URL protocol, select the URL protocol [Drop-down menu].

     • https://—The link will only use the secure version of HTTP.
     • http(s)://—The link will attempt to use the secure version of HTTP and will use unsecured HTTP as a fallback.
   • To create a custom short link (aka a vanity link), select [Edit], change the URL path, and select [Checkmarked].

   

Share a tracking link

You can copy the link to your clipboard or share the QR code with partners.

Copy link to clipboard

1. Select the link.

   • You will receive a message saying that the link has been copied to clipboard.
2. Share the copied link with your partners.

Share the QR code

1. Select [QR code].
2. You can take a screenshot of the QR code and manually share it with your partners.
