# Connect Your Personal Email to Your impact.com Account

Connect your personal email to your impact.com account to [send emails to prospective partners](https://help.impact.com/brand/what-would-you-like-to-learn-about/performance-program/recruiting-partners/prospective-partners/contact-a-prospect) directly from your email address. This adds a more personal feel to your recruiting and outreach efforts.

1. From the top navigation bar, select your ![](https://4048883401-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FwMLlMoFBtKJa8ptd3zaw%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-1183576591b45997efe4dc81a25024640591d02a%2F245137dc972a7a7f6165b59538fcdbac8fd5bd8fee4ba9f20c1a2982c5b58b57.svg?alt=media) **\[User Profile]** → **Edit Profile**.
2. Under the *Send as email address* section, select **Connect your email**.
3. Select your email provider and enter your email address.
4. Select **Next**.
5. Authenticate the account by completing any multifactor authentication step.
6. impact.com will request that you **Sign in to Mediarails**. Mediarails is an impact.com company and was acquired by impact.com in September 2018. Select **Continue**.
7. Select **Select all** to give impact.com the necessary permissions to send emails on your behalf.

8. Select **Continue**.

   * Your email will now be connected to your impact.com account. 9. Select **Save** to finalise the changes made to your profile.
