# View & Respond to Promo Code Monitoring Violation Comments

Partners can add their own comments to an open violation, which will appear as a thread when viewing it.

**Note:** When adding comments, always make sure to select **Save Violation** at the bottom of the screen to ensure your comment is saved.

1. In the left navigation menu, select ![](/files/R8AxmtABBX7EqHjIMAwy) **\[Protect]** → **Violations**.
2. On the *Violations* screen, hover over the violation you want to view or add comments and select **Edit**.
3. Go to the *Comments* section to view — if you wish to respond, select ![](/files/Gl8lj5gLPbgSXGH8yWYa) **Add comment**.
4. Select **Add** to submit your comment.
5. Select **Save Violation** to save your comment and update the violation.
